Born in limitation but destined for leadership, Mychael Williams has turned adversity into assignment and challenge into calling. Born on November 23, 1992, without full use of his limbs and with vision limited to one eye, Mychael refused to let obstacles define him. Raised amid hardship and his parents’ battles with addiction, his maternal grandmother became his guiding light teaching him faith, resilience, and purpose that would become the bedrock of his life’s mission.
By the age of seven, Mychael had already found his voice, preached his first sermon and discovered his divine calling to inspire and lead. From that moment, his life became a living testament that purpose can bloom from pain, and destiny can rise from difficulty.
A proud graduate of the Stamford Public School System, Mychael is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Southern New Hampshire University. His commitment to education and leadership is reflected in every role he holds. Each one connected by a single thread: transformation.
Before turning 30, Mychael became a homeowner. A milestone that symbolized both perseverance and progress. As Executive Director of a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring young urban males aged 12–18, he equips the next generation with the tools to overcome, excel, and lead.
Spiritually, Mychael serves as Pastor of The IMPACT Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where he has spent more than a decade cultivating faith, growth, and community under the leadership of his spiritual father, Superintendent Fred D. Gee, Jr. He also serves as Jurisdictional Youth President for the Connecticut Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of COGIC and Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of the Triumph Interdenominational Network — a network of churches, ministries, businesses, and schools across the East Coast.
His reach extends into education and governance as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Intellectus Preparatory Charter School in Mount Vernon, New York, where he helps guide the school’s mission to empower students through education, leadership, and opportunity.
Professionally, Mychael serves as Chief of Staff to the Chief Strategy Officer for the New York City Department of Education the largest school system in the world. In this capacity, he helps shape and execute strategic initiatives that impact millions of students and families, driving equity, innovation, and systemic change across the city.
Across every platform from the pulpit to the public sector, Mychael’s mission remains the same: to build people, strengthen systems, and leave every space better than he found it. His story stands as a testament to the power of faith, perseverance, and unyielding leadership, proof that destiny is not defined by circumstance but by courage.
